To get rid of this message, do the following in the Choose a D irectory: field:

1. Open the Apps folder by double clicking on it.

2. Scroll down until you see the Notes folder and open it by double clicking on it.

3. Open the Data folder and then open the w32 folder.

4. You will see the path listed as C:\Apps\Notes\Data\w32 in the Choose a Directory field.

5. Click O K.

Lotus Notes should now open successfully with the smart icons showing.
