JavaScript errors may occur when loading the Welcome page in Lotus Notes when a custom Welcome page has been created that links to a web site. Although web sites can be accessed from the Welcome page, some web page designs are incompatible with the Welcome page design.

To resolve the JavaScript errors, remove the link to the specific web site from the custom Welcome page. Other web sites may cause the error as well so it is a matter of trying links to see if they are compatible. Another option is to use the default PeopleSoft Welcome page or to launch Notes directly to the mail file Inbox.
