ERROR: You do not have the authority to create folders or views in your mail database. See your administrator...

The Lotus Notes Error message "You do not have the authority to create folders or views in your mail database. See your administrator to change your access rights" occurs when a change has been made to the Access Control List (ACL) of the mail file which has prevented folders from being created, edited or deleted.

To resolve this error, log a NorthStar ticket or contact Technical Support Operations so that the issue can be escalated to a Notes Administrator.
