ERROR: Server error: File does not exist
The Lotus Notes error message "Server error: File does not exist" indicates that the database no longer exists on that server. It can also indicate that a database no longer exists on the hard drive if the error is received when trying to open a local replica of a database.
The error could be received when doing the following:
Opening a database other than the mail file: Log a NorthStar ticket or contact Technical Support Operations so the issue can be escalated to Notes Administration. Be sure to provide the name of the database and the specific server you are trying to open it from when the error message was received.
When the nightly Compact task ran, a corrupt mail file was removed.
