ERROR: Data being added conflicts with existing data. (18,2)
The error message "Data being added conflicts with existing data. (18,2) When added a new item to the database, the system found a conflicting item already exists" occurs when a field set up as unique identifier has the same data as an existing report. Most often this happens when the number sequencing feature of a module gets out of sync.
To resolve the issue, contact Technical Support Operations or log a NorthStar ticket so the issue can be escalated to second level support. Be sure to provide the error message and the point in the application entry when it was received.
