Error Message: SQL error. Stmt #: Sort Memory allocation
The error message " SQL error. Stmt # 609 Error Positions:0 Return: 8601 [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/6000] SQL0911N Sort memory cannot be allocated to process the statement. Reason code " ". SQLSTATE 57011 (SQLSTATE 57011)-955" means that your Internet Cache memory is full. The numbers may be different, but the inside structure of the message will be the same.
If you have received this error, you will need to clear your internet cache before you can continue.
To clear you internet cache, follow these steps:
In the Internet Explorer file menu, select Tools.
The Internet Options box will open to the General tab which is where you will be working.
In the Temporary Internet files section, click the Delete Files... button.
A pop up window will appear with the message "Delete all files in the Temporary Internet Files folder?" Click OK.
It is unnecessary to check the "Delete all offline content" box.
In the History section, click the Clear History button.
A pop up window will appear with the message "Delete all items in your History folder?" Click Yes.
Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
The memory and disk caches have now been cleared in Internet Explorer.
If you still can not submit a the report after fifteen minutes, if could mean that a process is too large and taken all the resources or that the process is hung.
