ERROR: The time you entered for Project is outside your assignment dates
Symptom:
ERROR: The time you entered for Project ID XXXXX is outside your assignment dates
Cause:
Consultants: Once your project assignment has ended, you have seven days to complete your final time report. If you try to submit a timesheet against a project seven days after your project team assignment end date, you will receive the error message and will be unable to continue with your time report.
IT employees/IT contractors: You may receive this error message due to the expiraton of IT projects.
Resolution:
Consultants: To resolve this issue, you will need to contact your manager and work with the Project Manager for that project or the SCA in your region to get your project team assignment end date extended. After this is done, you will then be able to submit a timesheet against that project.
IT: Please create a
NorthStar ticket including the IT Project number. The ticket will be escalated to the IT Business Office for processing.
