An error has occurred in the script on this page. The script operation has been canceled.
Microsoft Jscript runtime error
[Line: <number>] <jscript name> is undefined."
occurs when using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.02 on either Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0. This error is due to missing information in the Registry.
While the Customer Connection pages may refer you to download and install a patch, the supported resolution for PeopleSoft employees is to upgrade or reinstall your current version of Internet Explorer. You should be running higher than version 4.0.
The current supported release is available through the Software Library.
To install Internet Explorer from the Software Library in Lotus Notes:
Open Lotus Notes, then open the Software Library by clicking the bookmark link.
If you don't have the Software Library bookmark see document 16250 — How to add the Software Library database link to Lotus Notes for instructions on installing the Software library bookmark.
Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.
Click By Package Name. This view will probably already be showing as it is the default view.
Scroll until you see the entry Internet Explorer 5 Packages and double click on it to open it.
Read the instructions on the page to install the software. Be sure to install the correct software.
