Sometimes after synchronizing with EasySync you will get an error like:  Notes C++ API error: Document has been deleted and further down Failed to get repeat parent. This is caused by repeating meetings that have something that EasySync doesn't recognize. You have two choices to resolve the problem. You can turn off Calendar synchronization or  you can delete the repeating meetings then recreate them as individual meetings.  Sorry, yes, it is a problem, that is why EasySync is not supported.  The supported synchronising software is IntelliSync which you can load from the Software library.   For more instructions see 39049 How to install IntelliSync for the Palm organizer.

Dealing with the repeating meeting problem.

 

1. Open your Lotus Notes calendar to the repeating meeting.

2. Take note of all the meeting particulars so you can recreate the entry.

3. Click once on the meeting to select it. Press the { Delete}key.

4. You may get a message presenting a list of dates and asking you to select the desired "repeat instance date".  Select any date after the current date and click OK.

5. You should find that all instances of that meeting are now deleted from your Calendar.

Important You cannot recreate it as a repeating meeting, you must cut and paste to create individual entries. If you did not create the original invitation you are only recreating the entry for yourself, not for everyone who was invited.  So send the invitation only to yourself.
