The error message you are receiving Warning: A problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off the computer immediately and return for service may be due to the failure the fan for your computer, or it could be due to a problem with the BIOS. Both causes need to be resolved by repair or replacement of your machine. Before taking that step, however, see if the problem can be resolved by improving the machine's operating conditions. Allow the system to cool down then follow the recommendations in Eureka! document 39060 — How to reduce computer failures.
If the above steps did not correct the problem open a NorthStar ticket to make an appointment for service. Be sure to include your contact number. Describe the problem in detail, especially the steps you took to try to correct the problem. You will be contacted by the appropriate party.
