Document number: 39062

DVD is not supported on your PeopleSoft machine.  Use the drive for CD-ROM only. The newest Windows 2000 builds do come with DVD drviers, but they are still unsupported. Windows NT4 does not come with DVD drivers and loading them from other sources is also unsupported. Warning: Intel UltraATA IDE drivers will corrupt your hard drive requiring your machine to be rebuilt.

If you are having problems with playing CD-ROMs in your DVD see Eureka! document 39040 — Troubleshooting CD-ROM problems. If the CD-ROM works but not the DVD or you receive the error Create Overlay Failed. Please Lower your screen resolution or color depth or Unable to create video window, please try altering your display settings try shutting down (deactivate) PC-DUO client during your DVD session. In NetMeeting, go to Tools, select Remote Desktop Sharing, and uncheck Enable Remote Desktop Sharing on this computer. If you don't have PC-DUO or NetMeeting try changing your screen resolution to 800 x 600 then experimenting with number of colors. For more information see Eureka! document 69002 — How to change screen resolution, font size, or icon size.
