Capturing a printer using Print Mapper

Document number: 47009

Note: In order to "capture" a particular printer, you must map the printer to your computer first. For more information about mapping (adding) a printer to your computer, see Eureka! document 40010 — How to add printers.

Print mapper is a utility to help you "capture" a printer for printing from certain programs. Click on one of the following links for instructions:

Note: If you have already run Print Mapper and the Print Mapper screen shows you have the LPT1 port captured but you are still unable to print, you can try capturing the port manually — see Eureka! document 45002 — How to map LPT1 printer port manually.
