Working offline indicates that you want to print at a later time.

To check whether or not you are printing offline in Windows 95 and NT 4.0:

1. Click on Start, Settings, and then double-click on Printers.
   
   
2. Right-click on the printer icon you will be using.
   
   
3. If the Work Offline menu item has a check mark, you cannot print currently.
   
   
4. To work online, right-click on the printer icon you wish to print from and click on Work Offline to remove the check mark.
