The following steps will walk you through checking iPass modem settings for the 3.2 iPass client:

1. Launch the iPass client software by clicking on the Start menu, then Programs, then iPass, and finally, iPass Connect v3. The iPass client window opens.

2. Click on the Settings menu.

3. Click on the Connection Settings.

4. Click on the Dialup tab.

5. Click the Options menu.

6. Verify that the "Device" shows your modem is selected.
