Document number: 54056

Note: The information in this document applies to iPass version 3.2 only. If you are using another version, please see:

You must know your iPass password before you can perform the steps below. If you do not know your iPass password, open a NorthStar ticket to have it reset for you.

To change your iPass version 3.2 password, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the following URL: https://express-connect.ipass.com/1032569.

  2. Log on using your network user name and iPass password.

  3. Click on the Modify my account link.

  4. Click on the Modify Yourname link near the top of the page (i.e. Modify Pat Smith if your name is Pat Smith).

Note: You should NOT use the the Reset Password link if you want to choose your password. Using this link assigns you a randomly generated password. If you use this link by accident, be sure to take note of that new password, as you will not receive any reminders of that password other than what you see on the screen.

  5. Click on the Change my Password link.

  6. Enter a new password.
    • Your password must meet the following requirements:
      • It must have 8 characters.
      • It must contain at least one upper case letter
      • It must contain at least one lower case letter
      • It must contain at least one number.
  7. Confirm it.

  8. Click the Update Password link.

Your new password will be ready for use in the iPass client within about 30 minutes.
