ERROR: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request

Note: As of August 15, 2003, Cisco VPN Client version 4.0.1 is the standard supported version of VPN client software. If you are on an earlier version, please update your software as soon as possible.

This error may occur while trying to map a network drive or change your network password when you are connected to the PeopleSoft network via VPN:

There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

This error is a known issue with the Cisco 3.5.1 version of the VPN client software. (This error has also been reported when using the Nortel VPN client software.) To resolve this error, you should install the current Cisco VPN client software, available in the Software Library.
