How to Reset the PIN on a SecurID Token
This procedure is to have your PIN reset for the SecurID tokens. (Self-service for PIN resets on SecurID tokens is not yet available.)
To have your password reset:
Launch NorthStar and log in, if necessary. For more information about launching NorthStar, see Eureka! document 70001 — How to create a ticket in Northstar.
On the left side of the screen, click on the Log Service Ticket link.
On the contact screen, make sure the information is current and indicate how you would like to be contacted if there are any questions.
Click Next.
Choose Communications and click Next.
Choose Remote Access and click Next.
For "Which remote access application?" choose Token.
For "What type of help do you need?" choose I need my PIN reset.
If this request is for someone else, enter that person's employee or contractor number into the Recipient ID field.
In the Subject field, provide your token's serial number, which is an 8-digit number on the back of the token. (The number is either stamped into the token, or a sticker with silver-colored letting.)
It is not necessary to enter any information In the Description field, unless there is additional information you want to provide Technical Support Operations with your ticket.
Click Finish.
Your Northstar ticket has been submitted.
