Connecting using Sprint PCS Connection Card
To connect using a Sprint PCS Connection Card in your laptop, follow these steps:
Note: You must insert your PCS Connection card BEFORE launching the software using these steps.
- Double-click on the desktop icon

- Click Start, Programs, and then Novatel Wireless.
- Click on WirelessConnectionManager, then Wireless Connection Manager.
The Wireless Connection Manager window opens.
Once the status at the bottom shows "Ready," click on the Connect button.
A Connection Properties window opens, asking for a User Name and password. (You have the options of saving your password, and disabling the prompt for this information for future sessions. You may use one or both of these options at your own discretion.)
Click OK. The Sprint PCS Connection Card will authenticate your user name and password, and connect to the Sprint PCS service.
Once connected, the status at the bottom of the Wireless Connection manager window shows "Connected".
You are now connected to the internet. You will need to use VPN to connect to the PeopleSoft network. For information on using VPN to connect to PeopleSoft, see Eureka! document 54109 — How to log in using the Cisco VPN client.
