is generally a harmless informational message.

• RAS users: If you are a RAS user, this message should appear whenever you RAS into the network properly or if you use PS RAS Connection Manager. PeopleNet Updates are no longer used at PeopleSoft, so you can ignore the error and click out of it.

• PeopleSoft Office connection: If you are using a PeopleSoft office direct connection to the network and you receive this error, try rebooting your machine. The error should no longer appear. If it still appears, see Eureka! document 55174 — ERROR: Unable to verify connection speed. PNU Terminated for more troubleshooting steps.
