Using PS RAS Connection Manager after changing locations
Note: The legacy RAS (dial-up networking) and PeopleSoft RAS Connection Manager (also known as PSRC or PSRCM) are in the process of being retired. To standardize dial-up access, the integrated PeopleSoft company is deploying iPass and VPN as the dial-up solution. For more information, see Eureka! document 54040 — iPass Frequently Asked Questions.
When you change your location and phone number, you need to use PS RAS Connection Manager again to get a new Focal or local number. Run PS RAS Connection Manager like you did the first time, and enter your new phone number information. You ONLY need to do this when you change locations, not every time you boot the machine or want to RAS in.
For instructions on how to use PS RAS Connection Manager, see Eureka! document 55092 — How to use PS RAS Connection Manager.
