Cannot find PS RAS Connection Manager icon

Document number: 55131

Note: The legacy RAS (dial-up networking) and PeopleSoft RAS Connection Manager (also known as PSRC or PSRCM) are in the process of being retired. To standardize dial-up access, the integrated PeopleSoft company is deploying iPass and VPN as the dial-up solution. For more information, see Eureka! document 54040 — iPass Frequently Asked Questions.

The PS RAS Connection Manager icon should be found on your Windows Desktop. It looks like this:

If you cannot locate it on your Windows desktop, try finding it from your Start menu:

  1. Click on your Start menu.

  2. Click on Programs.

  3. Click on PS WinApps.

  4. Click on PS RAS Connection Manager.

If you still cannot locate it, you can reinstall it (a network connection is necessary for this. You CAN be RASed in and install the software at the same time, if you log in using Dial-Up Networking. Reboot before using the software.) For the installation software location, see Eureka! document 70004 — Where to find software application packages... PS RAS Connection Manager.
