Can't open encrypted files after migration
Folders and files encrypted with Microsoft's EFS must be opened by exactly the same user creating them. That is "user" from the viewpoint of the computer which means both the user name and domain. If your original domain still exists you can log back into that domain, decrypt the folders and files, save them unencrypted, log off, then reencrypt them after you have logged back into the new domain. Since EFS file encryption is not supported at PeopleSoft the administrative tools for EFS recovery are not enabled. Access to the old domains will be cut off within a short period. If the original domain is no longer available you can consider the encrypted files lost and unrecoverable.
