PeopleSoft Shuttle Schedule

Starting November 1, 2004, the PeopleSoft shuttle in Pleasanton will no longer be available. All employees at PeopleSoft headquarters should have received a notification in their physical mail inbox regarding the new shuttle provider, WHEELS. Some important points of information:

To ride the new shuttle for free, you will need to apply for the free Hacienda WHEELS pass. The passes must be renewed yearly, and must be returned if you leave the company. See www.hacienda.org/services/services_commute_pass.html. Without the pass, the fare is $1.25 per ride.
Where to catch the Line #7 bus:
- From the BART station, the bus will let you off at the former shuttle stop on PeopleSoft Parkway between Buildings E and F (at the bus stop sign for Line #7).
- To the BART station, the bus will pick you up across from the morning stop (look for the new bus stop sign for Line #7 on PeopleSoft Parkway near the garage building, closer to the BART station)
- ACE train riders: the bus no longer goes directly to the ACE station, but there are a few stops NEAR the station. Check with the driver or your coworkers as to which stop to use. There is also a bus that you can catch at the BART station that goes to the ACE station - Route 54 - see the timetable for this route on the WHEELS site.
The schedule is very different from the PeopleSoft shuttle schedule. Schedules are available at www.wheelsbus.com/schedules/rte07.html. The PeopleSoft stop is on the same timetable as the BART station stop, but adjust the schedule accordingly to account for travel time
- Example: If catching the bus TO BART, get to the stop a few minutes BEFORE the scheduled BART stop time.
