Discontinued PeopleSoft Build Profiles

Some legacy PeopleSoft Build profiles have been discontinued. This documents which applications are in those profiles. Users of those profiles will be able to load these applications from the Software Library, if those applications are necessary to their job function. Employees needing other specific applications can submit a NorthStar ticket for SMS Software Installs.

Software Library Resources for Loading Applications by Profile

After you get your machine you may need to load additional applications specific to your job role. If you used to get these applications loaded for you as part of a build profile you can get the direct links from the Software Library page on the discontinued legacy PeopleSoft builds. This list is provided as a guide. Users are encouraged not to install applications simply because they are listed. Instead, they should install them only if required for their job function. Reduced software licensing costs is one of the benefits it is hoped will be realized by these changes.

Open Lotus Notes, then open the Software Library by clicking the bookmark link.

You may need to look in your databases folder for the Software library bookmark
If you don't have the Software Library bookmark see document 16250 — How to add the Software Library database link to Lotus Notes for instructions on installing the Software library bookmark.

Click the Standard Software Package Installs icon.
Click By Package Name. This view will probably already be showing as it is the default view.
Scroll until you see the entry named Discontinued PeopleSoft Application Profile and double click on it to open it.
Selecting each link will take you to the software library page for installing that application.

After installing the applications you should have the software necessary for your job function.
