Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) Forgot password link does not work for contractor

Document number: 16190

If you are a contractor and the Forgot password link does not seem to be working, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.
  1. Verify that you are entering your email correctly. Email addresses for contractors should be in the following format: <C1 ID>@peoplesoft.com. External emails sent to a contractor's short name, will not be received.

  2. To find your C1 ID, view your Short name/User ID in the PeopleSoft Directory. For information on locating this database, see Eureka! document 10059 - How to find a Lotus Notes database.

  3. Check your Lotus Notes Quarantine for the password email.

  4. If the Forgot Password link still does not work, contact Technical Support Operations so that an analyst can invite you to a test Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) iMeeting. You will receive the iMeeting invitation that is addressed to your Enterprise Webcast email address. See Sending a test meeting invitation below for more information.

Sending a test meeting invitation

After the contractor has verified that the correct email address is being used to request the password, if the link is still not working, a Technical Support Operations analyst should follow the steps below to schedule an Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) iMeeting and invite the contractor. The meeting scheduled should not be an instant iMeeting.

  1. Log in to the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) Communications Center.

  2. See Eureka! document 16181 — How to access the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) Communications Center for more information.

  3. Schedule an iMeeting. The meeting can be created with a 5 minute duration.

  4. See Eureka! document 16184 — How to create an iMeeting via Enterprise Webcast (Interwise).

  5. Invite the contractor to the iMeeting before scheduling the meeting.

  6. Note: The contractor's name must be selected from the Communications Center Users list.

  7. Click the Schedule Event button and click Yes when the dialog box that says, "Would you like to send email invitations to the registered Participants?" appears.

The contractor will receive the iMeeting invitation that is addressed to their Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) email address. The contractor should now attempt to request their password again using the address their iMeeting invitation was sent to.
