How to obtain a user account for Enterprise Webcast (Interwise)
A user can request a new account for Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) if the user does not already have one set up. If a user attempts to log in to Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) and an account does not exist, they will receive the following error message: "Invalid user name or password."
To request an account be created to access PeopleSoft Enterprise Webcast:
Log on to Planet PeopleSoft.
Click the Meetings link under Employee Resources in the navigation categories on the left.
Scroll down to the the Web Conferencing section.
Click the Learn about Web Conferencing link.
Click the New user account link.
Note: The link will not work via VPN or iPass. Remote users must use RAS for the link to work.
When the following message displays, the account has been created:
<?xml version="1.0" ?>
<APIResult Code="0" Description="Success" />
Close all open browser windows.
The user should now be able to enter the Enterprise Webcast (Interwise) Communications Center successfully.
If an internal server error displays, click the New user account link again. Or, open a NorthStar ticket or contact Technical Support Operations for assistance.
Important information regarding the "New user account" link:
The link should only be used if the user has tried to enter the Communications Center and received the Invalid user name or password error.
The link will not work over VPN or iPass for security reasons. The user will need to use RAS for the link to work. A user can be connected via VPN or iPass to enter the Communications Center.
Trying to use the link when an account already exists will reset the user's password and roles if they have been expanded.
