Unless indicated, all signons are for the JDEG3 AS/400.
Signons are comprised of 8 characters.
The first 2 characters identify the user as a Teacher or a Student.
All Teacher signons begin with TC.
All Student signons begin with ST.
The 3rd and 4th characters are represented under the “Signon” column. For example, a Denver Corporate “Signon” column might show C1, so the 3rd and 4th characters of the signon would be C1.
The 5th and 6th characters are unique, based on the teacher number or the student number. For example, in a class of 12 students, the 12th student would use “12” as the last two characters.
The 7th and 8th characters are used to complete the requirement of an 8 character User ID and password. The characters are simply an X. For example, after entering the User ID just add “XX”. STC112XX.
Example:
| DENVER | |||
| Class Name | Signon | # Teachers | # Students |
| Inv Mgmt, SOM | C1 | 1 | 12 |
For the above Inventory Management and Sales Order Management classes, the teacher signon is TCC101XX and the student signons are STC101XX through STC112XX.
