Permissions that allow for the installation of the ICA browser plugin
Be sure that you are logged in as a person with Administrative permissions to the computer that you are attempting to configure.
Verify your Internet Explorer settings:
Open Internet Explorer and click the Tools menu.
Click Internet Options, then click on the Advanced Tab.
Verify the following Security settings:
Do not save encrypted pages to disk should be unchecked.
Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed should be checked.
On the client site:
To access the CTE infrastructure through NFUSE the Client’s Proxy must be using SOCKS version 5 or greater.
If the client proxy is not operating at version 5 or greater of SOCKS, it is very likely that they will be unable to connect through NFUSE, and Operation will only be able to perform limited troubleshooting.
Minimum connection speeds required are 8K to 10K per connection with 16K to 20K per connection recommended for best performance.
The standard ports for Internet access should be open:
80 (HTTP)
443 (HTTP over SSL)
