ERROR: Database is currently in use by you or another user
The Lotus Notes error message "Database is currently in use by you or another user" is often received when Notes has been running overnight. It may also be received if a server task is hung on that database including mail files. To resolve the error, Lotus Notes should be closed completely and then relaunched.
If the error message continues to be received after exiting and relaunching Lotus Notes, contact Technical Support Operations so that a Notes Administrator may assist further.
