What is my network user name?

You can find your network name by pressing the { Ctrl}, { Alt}, and { Del} keys simultaneously. A Windows Security window will appear. In the Logon Information section, your user name will appear after your domain name. For example, if the following appears in the Logon Information section: "Pat Smith is logged on as PEOPLESOFT\psmith ," then the network user name is "psmith."

Note: Your password is case sensitive but your user name is not.

For more information and a screen shot of the Windows Security window, see Eureka! document 55125 — Network Name.

My favorite bookmarks keep taking me (redirecting me) to the Planet login screen. Why?

If you use a bookmark for an intranet application without logging in to Planet PeopleSoft first, you will probably be taken to one of the following login screens:

To access the application, enter your network user name and password, then click OK.

To avoid this issue in the future, log in to Planet first, then use your favorite bookmarks to access the site or application.
